How to authorise your return or exchange 

Before returning your merchandise to Matta Clothing, please first contact our team at hello@mattaclothing.com.au, and we will inform you of the return process and our address details. Please note that returns will not be accepted or processed unless you have made prior arrangement with us.

Change of mind? 

If you receive your garment and it’s not what you expected, Matta will happily offer you a refund or exchange on all full priced items (excluding postage), that are returned strictly within 28 days of purchase.  

You will need to cover the cost of returning the original item to Matta Clothing. For Australian customers, we also require you to include an appropriately sized pre-stamped envelope or pre-paid satchel with your full name and address, so that we can send your replacement article to you. For all overseas customers, please contact us at hello@mattaclothing.com.au with your request and we will respond with details on how to return your item. 


Size exchange 

If you love your garment, but require different sizewe’ll exchange it as long as we have your required size available.  

You will need to cover the cost of returning the original item to Matta Clothing. For Australian customers, we also require you to include an appropriately sized pre-stamped envelope or pre-paid satchel with your full name and address, so that we can send your replacement article to you. For all overseas customers, please contact us at hello@mattaclothing.com.au with your request and we will respond with details on how to return your item. 


Incorrect size or colour 

If we’ve sent you the wrong size or colour, please accept our apology and we ask you to return the merchandise to Matta Clothing so we can send you a replacement item at no additional cost to you.  We’ll also happily reimburse you for your return postage cost. Or if you’d prefer a refund, let us know. We’ll refund the complete purchase price along with all postage costs.  

Refunds are not available on sale items 

Refunds will not be given on sale items. However, if the sale item is the wrong size we will endeavour to swap it for the correct size – if we have it available. If your sale item is faulty, we will accept this in accordance with the ACCC guidelines. 

Condition of returned items 

All returned merchandise must be in the same condition as you received it from Matta Clothing. This of course means that the product should not be damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn (other than a try-on) and that all labels and tags should be intact.
